it is not that guys came up short, the take off is too flat and you really have to preload to clear the landing at the same level. the guys get any sideways and it ejects them or clip the back tire and over the bars. the track is still weak and small.. time will tell if it grows into a real track or not... if ya like the track that well, dont ride at any others in the state, you will have a much different opinion after that event.....this was my first thread that i have written an evaluated and was promptly critiqued over my opinion, curious, graded for english too......it is a fair and honest evaluation, grammer deductions ass-ide

Lance who?

I've been around the moto scene a long time. Can't say I've ever heard the name.

Dude it's SIR that's how that track has always been - you over hyped it up yourself so you can only blame yourself. Just like I think Cadillac Ranch could be better then it is ward creek is fun but I find that track little challenge in terms of difficultly on the jumps.

Whats this crap about of man the braking bumps and such it's motocross! Braking bumps are way easier on you n the body if you stand up and do your braking before or after them. You suspenion works WAY better when your not on the brakes but since your ridding a 4 crap you have to keep the throttle cracked open to keep it free wheeling other wise you get decomp braking.

Just like how the Pro's will blip the throttle in the air it helps those flying brick of a 4 stroke float easier n keeps the front end up. Chopping throttle on the face of a jump on a 4 crap is like doing a brake tap instant front end dive endo effect.

It'll get better. the take-off to the double will get steeper, berms will be higher, some features will be enhanced, maybe an escape route for the chickens.

It's not finished yet.

Friday had over 150 riders, with NO hype, very little promotion other than word of mouth. It's going to be a very good thing.

One of the best things you can do right now: Go ride it, then send your constructive thoughts to PR.

The hype was throughout the mx community, not just the few posts about it here. These guys are right, there was a lot of buzz and excitement about it. Personally, I am glad there is a place to ride there. I just wish the reports would have been better. I know how good crfracer96 is, and how much experience he has, and I know he can see things with a track many of us can't understand. I will ride there as a last resort until it changes. The reports on how they were running sessions were just as bad as the layout and conditions.

I Ride: fast, except on the road.
More tracks is always better and closest track to Seattle should do fine.

Agreed.

My kid and I can roll over there in less than half an hour and ride mid week now. The management certainly has issues they need to work out but the overall environment of riders and the ease of access will make this a regular spot for us.
