Helmets?
I am new to this FORUM. I was just wondering if anyone has ever asked " Is a Military KEVLAR helmet legal for use when operating a motorcycle in Washington State? Other than the fact it has no DOT sticker on it. Could it be considered adequate for use? Thak You for your time.

Nope. Has to be DOT approved.

I am familiar with the helmet you are speaking of, and honestly, I wouldn't want to use that to protect my head. It may be Kevlar, but there is no absorbent foam to protect from the impact.

Figured as much. I was cursed with a Big Head and was looking for a summer helmet for riding. Thank you for your response. Besides the way bugs are around on the country roads I might just keep using my full face helmet year round.
