Damn Sparky, why do you have to be changing these dates around. I cleared the end of the month on my work schedule, but the 8th I have the night watch. No way I can make a St Helens run on that.

I was just giving you some crap man, not trying to complain at all. There's no way I'd be able to do the ride, I'll catch up next month after I get a new set of tires.

Hey Sparky, Tonight is the first time I heard about this. I was just looking for any info on the Astoria ride this month and didn't realize it happened on the 8th. I hope you had fun. I was in Southern Oregon camping with my family that whole week, so I couldn't have made it anyway. Last week, I spent 5 days riding 750 miles. I went to bike nights in Hillsboro, Corvallis and Roseburg, riding lots of backroads all over the Willamette Valley. Next month, some guys from Corvallis are doing a ride to California for about 4 days; Northern california run. I'm going to try to do that one. One of the guys is building me a luggage rack for the R1. It will be a regular cruiser by the time I'm done with it. Later, John
