Cool Mt ST Helens ride aftermath
8/8/09 Ride to Mt Saint Helens:
Paula and I left Naselle at 8:00 am Saturday morning , picked a bike in Grays River, and one more in Cathlamet . Then we all rode to Longview and met up with Sparky and the gang. We continued on to LaCenter to add another rider, and finally to Battle Ground were we met up with 7 more and off to NICKS in AMBOY. Still no RAIN!!!!!!!!!!. The weather was good, Got to NICKS all the bikes took up the whole front of NICKS, Got some great photos and a full belly. Jim the owner had everything set up for us the service TOP drawer. What a great guy Jim and his co-Pilot Colleen; we enticed them to join us for the rest of the ride. Then off to windy ridge on MT ST Helens. Boy, was it windy, but what a great view of Spirit Lake and the aftermath after the eruption. We stopped for gas and photos in Randall. THE road was not too bad, HA HA, In spots, Everyone made it OK no problems thank you LORD. Paula will post pictures for all to see, if you like. Then off to Morton where we had a Mexican dinner and a yakken great time. MORE PITURES A LOT OF HUGS, more gas not from the beans HA HA!!!!, and then homeward bound. What a GREAT DAY. Hit I-5 waved good bye till next time to Sparky and Billy as they went north and the rest of us went south. AS I reflect on the day and the great people I meet and the fun I had, I say thank you ALL. Waved till next time to the riders still heading south for homes as Paula and I, JOHN, and B.J headed west into the dimness of evening, they pealed off and we made it home at 2 mins to 10:00 pm. Paula and I slid into the hot tub and at the same time said WHAT A GREAT DAY !!!!!!!!!.
THANK YOU ALL. YAMAHOG AKA OT, and WOODY.

in the navigation area on the left side of the main page is a picture option, click on it and in there is a " how to post pictures" section.
