I just do my own oil changes in the garage. I don't know what they charge, but I would chew my fingers off if my bike was sitting in a garage on a sunny day. If I could find a cheap tire machine, I would change my tires too. About the only time any part of my bike is in the shop now is for tire swaps when I take my wheels in. I haven't tried working on the forks yet, and don't know if I would trust my skills, but I try most anything else as long as I can find some instructions.

I went into Washington friday with my wife on back. We went through Naselle, then to Long Beach. I got pulled over for 64, but no award. I think I'm going to avoid Washington for rides anymore. They will stop you for going 56. Even w/o the award, I still get tired of having to stop. If I drove a 10 year old sedan, they wouldn't even look at me, but on a bike, they stop you for anything or for nothing at all.

We went about 75 miles, and other than the stop, it was a great day.

Well I got suckered into the infamous pro caliber service contract. But so far I have gotten my $'s worth.. It just takes too long. I still have a year left on the contract so I just deal with it.

Thanks 95gst.. If that was even my bike ( blue 07 busa, single side yosh pipe)

sorry for jackin your thread rally

Nope...But I get to start my BRT in 13 days. Can't wait to get it over with.I'm under 21 so I have to take the stupid class or I would be endorsed by now.I didn't get the permit because I don't really know anyone that's 21 That is endorsed that would go riding. Also it hasn't been very nice yet anyways but really I just didn't want to waste time getting my permit to ride 1 or 2 times.

I'm over twice that age, and I would ride with you, but we probably live about 20 miles apart. I'm glad to know their will be another rider in the area.

Yeah that would be awesome but I just figured it would be too much of a hassle To have to have someone ride over to meet me and go for a ride. But I only have 11 more days until I start my classes in warrenton. Can't wait to get it over with....I'm pumped for the nice weather.

I'm over 21 and have an endorsement...

But get yours!

I hear you'll learn a lot of good stuff at BRT...I didn't do it but my brother did and he is a fantastic rider...better than me!
