Haha yeah.......So have you gotten the Busa back yet?I hope the weather starts getting better around here.

I just got the call today that it's finally finished. But being that they took their time getting it done, I'll wait for a non rainy day to ride it back home

stkflkr, I see that most of the posting here is from people who don't live in our area. Are they just jealous?

It wasn't raining there this afternoon or tonight when I finally got to leave work an hour late.

When I read the title to this thread, I thought that had to be an insane woman to ride in this weather. I will expect to see that in July or August.

I'm hoping to meet more riders from this area. So far, it's been pretty dismal, and I've gone to Portland and Corvallis to find more people to ride with. It's hard to believe there are other sportbikes around here. I never see them, with the exception of the guy who rides his to work at Gearhart Builders. I've been trying to get him on this forum.

I will ride with you guys this summer....If you promise to wait up for me haha The old guys will be outrunning the 20 year old haha.I have been riding motocross since I was 7 and I just bought my R6 a month ago but I have only ridden it 2 miles haha.But those 2 miles were crazy wierd.I have a lot of practice before I feel a 100% on my skills.I have to wait until I go to my Astoria team Oregon classes on the 26,27,28.Until I can get my endorsement but after that I will be riding it everyday.

We have all kinds of bikes out here in Rainier/ Longview. I know of at least ten riders that I have gone on rides with. The problem is none of them come on this site. We just send out a mass text to the cell phones and If they are free to ride, well then they respond.

So.., those of us that are in this area and want to generate a list of numbers so when a ride is planned, regardless of who, if they want company, send out a text. Some are planned rides some are last minute.

I'm up for that, especially if the ride takes you closer to the coast. I would come and meet up. If you're heading east, I could still make some rides, but I would take an hour or so to get to Longview, so I would need some warning. My cell phone number is on my profile.
