Thanks. Pics of the new exhaust will be hard to see since it is completely black. It's just OEM painted black with matching black heat shields. I put race baffles in them. It changes the look of the tail.

I'm getting faster, but I don't think I'll ever ride the R1 to it's full potential. To do that on a public road would be suicide. I don't worry too much about performance mods. It's fast enough for me the way it came. I do want to have the most grippy tires I can afford. Corners are where I really like to play.

were right on the same train of thought here mister! but i hear they have open track days at p.i.r. ive never flown on a paved track with the thought of nothing comeing the other way & nothing shooting out from the side now were talking! im to tired to race full on anymore but i shure whould like to play for a bit! by the way my complements to your wife for being able to fly on that tail seat & high pegs, how many miles per break do ya get 2 up?

I don't know about the track days. I hear there's nothing free about them. Pretty spendy when you include all the required equipment and tire wear. Since I don't play the lotteries, I'll have to wait till some distant, unknown relative leaves me an inheritance.

Thanks for recognizing how awesome my wife is for riding with me. She prefers to stop every 30 minutes, but can make it 45 in a pinch. It probably depends more on how aggressively I'm riding and where the nearest bathroom is.
