Going up to Windy Ridge for the first time and looking down all those logs in the toilet...just awesome...having to stop a miillion times walking up to the top of those wooden stairs (previious smoker...payback i guess). I had a couple other riders follow me up (we weren't together, but ended up riding the same way). First time up FS99. Pretty cool stuff. I even almost ran into a deer right out of the parking lot at the top heading back down.

Best memory? any group rides that didn't end in crashes. I just a saw a silver audi on skyline yesterday slammed into a hillside. Won't forget that! I think some young kid was doing mario andretti and really face planted it.

Deals Gap 2007. My last ride with my good friend Don Williams. He passed away while riding his bike a few weeks back. I think he had a heart attack or something similar. RIP Sir Don.............I will always miss your generous heart, and friendly nature. And getting smoked by you on you 250, 750, and busa!

RIP to Don...

My best memory...the first time I rode a bike where twisting my wrist made the damned thing go forward and there were no peddles. I crashed about 10 seconds later but was hooked... Everything else has been icing on the cake!

From Fossil, to the Cascades, to Sumpter, and just about everything in between.

2 Track days at ORP - best was when the organizers talked my boyfriend/pit bitch into riding for the day - his second track day ever, after only 1.5 years of total riding! It was neat being on the track at the same time - here I am looking for him from on then off the track:

After only 2 track days (one PIR then ORP) he is a much more confident and safe rider - faster too!

We'd just bought a trailer to haul our bikes to the track and were able to take a few days off to take the scenic route through the National Forests between Corvallis and Grass Valley. One night we camped out near Mt. Bachelor:

We took about 40 miles of dirt forest roads home and got our bikes so dirty we vowed to never get them quite so dirty again:

Riding up to artist point and coasting back down the hill was fun.
Winthrop ride before the monkey butt was absolutely awesome.
Everybody went fast. No LEO interaction.

I'd have to agree, nothing like a ride through N Ca. all thou it was like 12 years ago, it still has a lot of fond memories. as of late a certain wild ride trip with a certain Kawasaki owner up, over and around NE Oregon.

to add to this there as a great VFR hook up where we toured the back roads of Mt St Helen's

There is no one better ride than another, so many to pick through, man talk about a lot of great times..

MonkeyButt has been a WIN experience every time. I didn't see much from the cruiser group, but I heard you two were tearing it up.

Not as good as you, Lizi.

But then again, my mom can't "facilitate" 6 members at a time like you can. I'm sure that under your supreme tutelage, she could aspire to greater heights of depravity.

Until then, keep on housin' that man chowder!

definitely the first time i rode the gixxer after reassembling her over the winter

the ride up until my accident was probably the most enjoyable ... had A LOT of things on my mind, and for the first 90 miles, i was relaxed for the first time in a while - then hit gravel

Most certainly facilitate. As in simultaneously. DVDADM, if you will.

We all know you could fellate any three NFL teams including support staff, simply cause there's only so much room in that filthy kawk trap of yours. They just form a line to the left.

Best ride this summer (TB and PJD's teenage sons aside) would have to be taking my visiting motel guests out on local rides...up Icicle Canyon, and on the Plain Loop as well as dual sporting up Mountain Home Road and down back thru Blewett Pass. Super short rides but I really don't get out of the area much with having guests here every weekend.

Also really enjoyed mini-bike jousting here on the property
