I can't find anything online about a north cascades highway wreck since July 25... I understand if the persons family hasn't been notified, but what all can you tell us? |

I do find it funny in the article that they call it a "street racer" style of bike ![]() | |

To make it clear for you bench racers and those who might take your postings seriously:This event is NOT a race. It is not closed-course. It is not sanctioned by a racing body. Bill gives a speech about the event before participants leave the shop every year. The only thing you NEED to do is register. After that, you are on your own schedule. Some people sightsee, some go the speed limit, some speed (like they do any other day), and others may go part of the way or not at all. Again, sad to see someone lose a life on a bike that day. My condolences go out to his friends and family. FYI: Yes, I've been on the past couple and was planning on it this year, but helping get an fjr 1300 back on the road for an Ironbutt rider who is mid-trip on a north american ride was more important this year.
