Last bike night the group got out the calender and picked Sunday the 22nd of March as a good day to let loose some lead. Who's in? Speaking of N. Fork…. Sorry for the last minute switch. I went scouting Alger Mountain today after work only to find some new signs posted, after contacting DNR I learned that it is still legal to shoot on Alger Mountain, but not to have a motorized vehicle of any kind past the gate even thou it’s open and that we would likely be ticketed as it is a source of revenue. So we’re switching locations, a little farther out of the way for the south end folks venturing up, but after scouting N. Fork Road this evening and checking with a few folks it appears to be perfectly clear and legal. I’ll be in the first pit on the left, it’s really big, and you can’t miss it. I’ve posted direction below and PM’d all those planning on attending so that there will hopefully be no confusion. Should be able to shoot any range you want, easily out to 500 yards. As planed I’ll be there all day rain or shine, and I’ll try and post up signs once we hit the dirt section of the N. Fork to help keep people headed the right direction! NEW SHOOTING LOCATION: Take exit 255 for WA-543 / Sunset Dr and head EAST (16.8 miles) Turn RIGHT onto Mosquito Lake Rd (1 mile) Turn LEFT onto North Fork Rd (6 mile) Arrive at Big Pit on left! For anyone that wants to Google it try “N. Fork Rd, Deming, WA 98244” Last edited by Cuervo; 03-18-2009 at 09:59 PM.. Reason: So everyone will know where we're going! |
