| Zone Head Joined: Feb 2006 From: Bend, OR I Ride: 2004 Yamaha R1 | Moving to Bend in early August 2009 I'm moving to Bend around August 1st, and would like to meet up with some bikers. A little about me: I'm very active in PNW Portland, and live here currently. I'm 24, work for Pastini's as a kitchen manager, and will be heading to the Old Mill store. I've been riding for 4.5 years, and am comfortable on my bike. I ride an R1, and have done a 3 track days on it recently. I ride moderate on the street, and don't push myself past my comfortability or knowledge of the roads. I take it easy on the street, but I do enjoy a spirited ride after I get a feel for the curves. I'm a college grad, work hard, like to play hard. No drugs or smoking, but drink moderately. Wow, this sounds like a match.com ad. I just like to ride, with no BS, and want to get to know the roads out there ASAP! |

I guess this is Bend, so....I love long walks, uh, around the lava flows??  Find the awesome roads while you're there so maybe some PDX peeps can come visit ya and ride 'em.  Do you think this is the highest number of posts the Bend area part of the forum has seen in like....forever? Congrats Matt, you've single handedly doubled the Bend capacity via all of us who will come over here and harass you from PDX,  |

There is about 10-15 of us and would love to have you on one of our rides. Pm me when you get here. BTW, if you need a place to rent my wife and I have a rental on the east side of Bend that is ready to go.
