I'm gonna go ride to Fossil either tomorrow or Friday if it's too thunderstormy tomorrow. Anybody wanna go?

No idea what the roads will be like 'cause I haven't been that way yet this summer and I've been hearing contradicting information so I thought I'd go see for myself.

I work both of those days, and they'll be long ones... I'm really looking forward to getting out on Sunday!

If you're interested in riding with a slowpoke on Sunday, give me a holler. I can put off riding to Fossil if you're interested in that route, keep in mind I'm not really sure what the road conditions are out there right now. My understanding is part of the route got repaved between Fossil and Mitchell but the other side isn't in great condition.

Probably won't be riding out to Fossil tomorrow, looks cloudy out east and I kind of want to sleep in because I only get to sleep until 1pm 6 days out of the week and I woke up at 9am this morning sooo... after trying to do the math for 15 minutes I've determined I'm sleeping in tomorrow.

I have ridden pretty much all the roads in and around Fossil and all the roads are good. Lance we are meeting at Pats shop at 0900 and doing a Fossil run.

I thought you guys were going to try to ride the McKenzie? Which won't be open, btw. Kyle's waaaay too optimistic. I think we'll be lucky if it opens at all this year, not that I'm opposed to it opening it's just... it's ODOT.

Also.. NO STEALING MY PLANS.

P.S. Will you take Sentor with you? I feel bad he's stuck with a slow rider like me, he looks all fast on his flashy R1. I'll just follow behind all slow and make "vroom vroom zoom" noises, you all don't need to worry about me, I'll just be all alone.. in the back.. as usual.

Yah we already told Kyle that McKenzie will not be open. So we are doing a Fosill trip. We are doing a 390-400 mile ride so hopefully everybody is down.

And sorry bout stealing your thunder.....lol

Wow, 400 miles this time huh? You guys taking the extended route? Hopefully everyone sticks it out this time, I heard last time you all did a long ride everyone started bailing half way through.

Well, I'll see you all at the shop tomorrow but I think I'll head the shorter route. Anyone who wants to go with me can but it's cool if not, I'll plan for a solo run.

Just rode Shaniko to Fossil last Thursday... roads were excellent. Be sure to stop at the Shamrock!

I've been very busy this year running the Fossil loop over and over again....

I have recently acquired a ZX14 and have been putting it through its paces on the loop also. So this summer I have run the Fossil loop on my 2000 ZRX1100, my buddies FJR1300 and my new ZX14. Installed the LSL bar kit and Buell pegs on the 14 which has made it a dream to ride. Here are some pics from this weekends ride.....

And finally a picture of the LSL bar kit which transformed my ride into the worlds fastest sport tourer....
