Anyone notice?
So, begrudgingly I have to admit that after taking a "few" years off from riding and then deciding to get my endorsement, out of the blue; I failed my test. That in and of it's self is not cause to post. What happened next is.

After spending some time wanting to through heavy objects at small woodland creatures, I decided that I was going to do everything within my power to pass on my next try. Last weekend I went to the Bend DMV to practice and brought me brother along so that he can point and laugh. When I got there I noticed that the course was all pretty with a new coat of paint. Very nice. Then I started riding it. I was able to run the entire course without fail and did it more that once... To say the least this frustrated me but the worst was yet to come.

The paint on the course is the road type that is cooked on so they have to tar over the old stuff. This leaves a mark that makes it easy to see where the old paint was. So here are a couple of observations that I made.

First, the cones for the slalom portion were moved a full 9" closer together.

Secondly, the corner box was widened by about 6".

And lastly, the U-turn box was widened didn't measure that one.

I was told that the Bend DMV course was the hardest to pass... Now I know why.

P.S.
If there is some regulation that changed the course recently that I did not know about, please disregard this post.

My point was that the course in Bend has been wrong for who knows how long. But thank you for the encouragement.

Yeah the Bend course always sucked. So bad that at least one person I know opted to go to Eugene instead.

Well if it makes you feel any better , I too failed here in Klamath the first time, the zx14 isnt a great choice I found to take the test lol. That same morning I saw a guy on a Ninja 250 fail as well. Team Oregon they have a course that isnt meant for minibikes lol. Good luck dont give up!! I too took a few years off.
