its taking forever to get this bike put together in a way that somewhat resembles done. its been a year since i wrecked and i just recently swapped the gsxr front in for the wrecked sv parts. turns out one of the fork uppers is slightly tweaked, but i rode it that way for the last year, handled good enough for me. i've got the dual triumph-wanna-be headlights on there as well. but i'm lacking gauges, so no speedo, or trip (never know when to get gas).

i think i'm a combination of slow, lazy, and busy. some guys knock the whole thing out in a weekend, i've taken a year and am not done yet. i've got a list of excuses a mile long, but normally it doesn't bother me as long as i can keep riding the thing. i'm waiting for the right speed sensor to come up on ebay. the plan for the mini-fairing is pretty involved, and i don't want to get that started and not be able to ride the next day. its too hot to work in the garage. i need to clean the chain. bla bla bla.

like i said, as long as its rideable than normally i'm ok with being so slow. but every once and then i get annoyed because i work up the ambition to go do something, but i won't have the time to do it. whaddayagunnadoo?
