Fall Melancholy

I'm feeling melancholy because I know summer will be over soon. The rains are going to come, and then there will be a "dead" month or two before the snow is good enough to motivate me to grab my snowboard and hit the mountain.
I suppose it's a good time to focus on taking care of those things that went neglected while the sun was shining, but I can't help but wish .... something.
That crispness in the air has always woken something strange in me, I've never been quite sure what it is, but when the weather starts to get cool, and I just know it's a promise of colder weather to come, I start yearning after something.
I just feel restless.

Me thinks humans get that strange feeling cause mother nature is trying to tell ya something.
