While visiting AIMe Expo in Orlando Florida, we met all kinds of motorcycle enthusiasts with interesting stories to share. This time we got to meet up with up with Mr. R.M. from Bluff City, Tennessee.

R. M. was a close buddy of Evel Knievel. He used to house Evil's bikes in his garage and tune them up when Evil was on the west coast. Evil even did a roofing commercial at R.M.'s house.

After riding my little ninja 250 a couple years now people always ask me, Hey when are you going to upgrade?

I think we should get all the known factors out of the way so that we are all on the same sheet of music.
Yes the bike is smaller then most bikes.
Yes the bike is only a 250.
Yes it is considered to be one of the best beginner bikes.

I am always amazed that people think that because of some the yes answers above that this bike can not be...

the 81 gs 550 T cafe project

well if all goes well this weekend ill be picking up this 1981 suzuki gs 550 T that is kinda bobbed and bringing it the 300 miles back to portland and will start tearing into it to make it into a cafe style bike,

well so far i haven't even gotten the bike but hopefully this weekend ill be making the 500+mile trip up to bigzack's to pick it up so fingers crossed i can get enough gas money built up and the ride stays available,

but it the skys...

my thursday ride

well last thursday (3-29) i rode from the 76 in historic gresham to the falls, was a grate ride i loved it alot, wish i had a camera to record the ride but mine cant handle movement all that grate and i dont have a mount, maybe some day ill get a drift or atleast thats my dream.

but ya back on point...
it was a grate ride even on the bobstar i was able to keep on the heels of a subie heading the same way exept on the straight bits,all the way to the vista house were i stoped...

This is a list I posted in PNWR Angels and thought it would make a good blog. I've highlighted the women only rides. Had more annual rides, like the one I met my late finace on, but unfortunately it's no longer around. Willing to add more to the list. Hope to see you there for some this year or next.

Well... It's no longer Adventures of a Harley Chic Rider...

We traded my V-Rod in last year, 2011, for what you see in my pic to the left: Yamaha FZ6-R. I LOVE it! His name is SPARTACUS I think I'll change my post titles to: Adventures of a Biker Chic!

I haven't really ridden a whole lot in the past 2.5 yrs. I wrecked my V-Rod in August 2010. Not too much damage on the bike... On me however, was a total different monster. I tore up my left knee and shoulder. I didn't...

got the rear fender tail light and carbs on.

noticed the fuelline/filter set are dry and need replacing. one has a crack near the base, argh.

Something New at Bosworth ORV Park

I went for a cruise after work last night and ended up at the ORV park south of Lake Bosworth. It seems the DNR folks have been busy removing and/or replacing culverts in the park. Here's what I ran into about mid-park:
