It amazes me even now, how every couple of years another "requirement" comes along which forces me (not by accident I presume) to reevaluate my skill in the saddle and this past October a new requirement presented itself. Now, in order to legally ride a sport bike on any naval installation, a sport bike rider must complete...

Ashtray Installation on a SUZUKI SV1000S


I was sitting around bored today still reeling from the double enchilada and taco plate @ the restaurant last night thinking to myself, "What can I do on this rainy day without getting too wet...?" then the answer came to me from the midst of my hazy, smoky reverie: Install an ashtray on my Suzuki SV1000S!! So that's what I did.

Trip to Starbucks

So I went to Starbucks via the highway. The one in the safeway store is okay but I prefer the one next to the NFCU in Silverdale so I went there. I got in the Jeep and drove there thinking how very good that cafe mocha and peppered ham breakfast sandwich was going to be....(mmmmm I can smell the odors of the ham already) is what I was thinking if I remember right. So I get there and although it's 11am already they tell me that not only do they serve the peppered ham sandwiches like the Starbucks...

Intimacy: A short Compilation

I had a brief discussion with another PNW'er last night on the awesome--awesome--thing called intimacy.

Being the type to see two sides to everything, I remarked that I liked intimacy but not the intimacy that made me feel like I was in hell. This sparked a debate about what intimacy really is...so today I decided to do some reading about intimacy and found out that, in fact, I was mistaken in my assumption that there are two sides to being intimate.

I just left the house and went to where my KZ is and found it is getting better after the valves and carbs were adjusted. After that, I went to the southworth landing and hit that road that connects manchester with PO. Then, I hit some-kinda road somewhere in gorst (and was blitzed by some way fast guy on a way fast bike)--that led me to effendahl pass...i effin shredded effendahl (well maybe not "shredded" but fast anyway) at the end of effen I had a smoke. then I got on this other road...
