The Path Less Traveled
Welcome to my blog! I'm committing this space to my adventures with motorcycles and activities related with them. This will include all sorts of stories about repairing them, going on trips, learning different riding techniques, meeting other riders, etc. In other words, a general dumping ground for whatever strikes me. Hope you enjoy the read.

I had a customer come into the store looking for a part--I really can't remember what now--when I noticed he rode in on his R6. It was about half past two in the afternoon, so I asked him how he got so lucky to be able to ride on such a nice, sunny afternoon. He said he was on L&I and had been for about three years now. Envy and jealousy set in almost immediately as I thought about all the free time to go riding. (I've been down the L&I road before, and I don't envy the fight to get paid from them... much like pulling teeth.) I asked if he had ever heard of PNWRider.com or was a member of the forum.
He replied, "Naw, I'm a biker gang of one. I don't have time for that kind of thing." I honestly was hurt and dejected. But it soon passed because I sarcastically remarked, "Oh, like an army of one." Whatever the hell that's suppose to mean?!?
Anyway, this won't stop me from inviting others to join the forum. I find the camaraderie and discussions here fun and you just can't beat the group rides. I've never been part of something where you can put up a post that says, "I'm bored. Meet me at Denny's in 30 minutes and we'll go carve up the roads for a couple hours," and have so many responses from people willing to do it just for the love of the sport. That's just damned awesome in my book.
