The Path Less Traveled
Welcome to my blog! I'm committing this space to my adventures with motorcycles and activities related with them. This will include all sorts of stories about repairing them, going on trips, learning different riding techniques, meeting other riders, etc. In other words, a general dumping ground for whatever strikes me. Hope you enjoy the read.

Wow! I last posted here in March. Pardon the dust.
Since then a whole riding season has came and went. I got a little riding in, but not as much as I thought I would back in March. I wanted to do a portion of the Washington Backcountry Discovery Route. That never happened. I wanted to do some riding up around Twin Lakes and Mount Baker. Don't think I made it north of Sedro on two wheels.
Why? Hiking, or, more accurately, mine exploration. It's been my new passion. I've spent countless hours searching out old, abandoned mines in our area. It has given me a good excuse to hop on the dual sport and ride out to the trailhead, but the bike has become another tool. It's not bad. It just ... is.
People change. Interests change. It's been a great year and I'm looking forward to next years riding season. Hell, I may even buy tags for the street bike and go for a long cruise down the coast. Who knows...
