Wow! I last posted here in March. Pardon the dust.

Since then a whole riding season has came and went. I got a little riding in, but not as much as I thought I would back in March. I wanted to do a portion of the Washington Backcountry Discovery Route. That never happened. I wanted to do some riding up around Twin Lakes and Mount Baker. Don't think I made it north of Sedro on two wheels.

I don't know about you, but I'm not a superstitious person ...normally. However, since I started riding I pay close attention to the "cosmic signs". And when those signs seem to point to potential danger, I heed their warnings.

Here we are seven months into the new year and I totally flogged the dog on the Mileage Survey. So, out it went. (It was on the left-hand sidebar) In it's place I put a link to my Facebook page.

After spending a few hours at work yesterday I finally was able to sneak out for a ride. I had a couple of errands to run in Everett, but the rest of the afternoon was mine. Once my "Had-To's" were done, I pointed the front wheel north and followed it. After some aimless wandering, I ended up at my wife's work in Arlington about four o'clock.

We spoke for a few minutes and it was decided that I would be buying her dinner when she got off work. So, I had an hour and a half...

I was suppose to go riding with my buddy, Kenny, all day yesterday up on the hills east of Wickersham. We had made plans early in the week and sealed the deal Thursday night.
