Well... It's no longer Adventures of a Harley Chic Rider...

We traded my V-Rod in last year, 2011, for what you see in my pic to the left: Yamaha FZ6-R. I LOVE it! His name is SPARTACUS I think I'll change my post titles to: Adventures of a Biker Chic!

A lot has happened since my last post. I fell off the PNWRiders wagon for a long time.

My VROD, I named her Vida (Spanish for life), had to have tranny and engine rebuild this past Summer. She was in the shop all riding season. The tranny and engine failed because of a defective manufactured part in the tranny. Basically, shards of metal were thrown into the engine via oil pump. Imagine that! All the bearings got eaten up.

She was back on the road long enough for me...

I will admit I was stupid for not having my checkbook or cash on hand...

However, not knowing that all DOL facilities do not take debit/credit cards is a valid thing.

That's it. Paul (Chameleon) & I went to Eagle Leather today. He bought some new riding boots and leather slip over pants (something similar to chaps, but pants). And as you see above, my new Winter riding gloves.

I'm looking forward to trying them out on Jan. 1st for the group ride.

Since I already have more than enough blogs all over the net I'm only going to try this out to to see if I can keep up.

I'll most likely post my riding experiences & all that entails.

I'm already enjoying my VROD riding. I'll enjoy it even more when I can have my saddle and Chameleon had his.

I'm not a fan of the cold or rain. I had two riding experiences with rain. One experience with the very cold.
