So the paint boot is built (aka Death Booth, do not go near that thing after its been used without a respirator!)
6' x 6' x 6'

Got the tail sanded and primed. Doesn't look too bad for a budget piece.
Unfortunately, getting these fairings done before Thunderhill is NOT going to happen. I'm using 2 part paint + 2 colors + clear coat. That's 5 steps (multiple coats each). So even getting the tail done is a stretch. May need to wait until I have a larger block of time. Also, this weather is total crap for painting. The low end of the range is 50 degrees. I can keep it 50 degrees in my garage with the lights and heater running but the doors have to stay shut. As soon as I open the doors to ventilate the temp drops like a rock. If I don't open the doors tho the fumes permiate thru the house and I risk asphixiation and ya know, death! But the contact high ain't too bad!
Grrr... I really wish it were in the high 50's like it SHOULD BE!
Now that I've got into this I don't wanna rush it so I will update as I complete each piece.
