I'm being charged ~$4800 for a "trauma activation" fee.

Update - Insurance finally covered it.

    Trauma activation?? WTF??? I have so many hospital bills because of my kidneys, and can't afford insurance. Always fun to deal with. Good luck man.

    "Trauma activation" fee? If you go in a perfect health, do they begin crediting your account then? I mean, come on. Why else would you go to the hospital? That would be like a mechanic charging you a "repair activation" fee for having to open his tool box to work on your car.
