WMRRA Round 8, Last Round of the 2009 Season – Pacific Raceway and Adrenaline Freaks Track Day – Oct 2-4

Wow, what a year! I was able to achieve all my goals I set for this year…AND THEN SOME! The weather held out for EVERY round this year! I didn’t have one single rain race this year. I missed one round out of 8 and still was able to place in the top 20 overall in the WMRRA championship points. Over the year I competed in 3 classes. In all three classes I finished in the top five....

WMRRA Round 7 – Pacific Raceway and Adrenaline Freaks Track Day – August 28-30

This was the penultimate round of the 2009 WMRRA season and I am second overall in the 650SS championship! I congratulate Nick Finken for taking the championship as there are not enough points for me to even challenge for the top spot. The weekend was full of excitement but most of all I am just pleased with my results and continual improvements.

Eric Featherstone #650 - WMRRA Round 6 – Pacific Raceway and Adrenaline Freaks Track Day – August 9-10

I skipped a Round 5 race blog because I ended up missing the round all together. My entire team bailed out on the trip to Spokane. I couldn’t wait to get back on the track and Round 6 was worth the wait for me. I achieved some milestones including a pair of second place finishes and a personal lap record of over 2.2 seconds faster!

650SS – 3rd. I could get used to this. Love getting on the podium.
