Brownlee-Oxbow Highway

I'm looking at some roads in eastern Oregon and was wondering how the road conditions of the Brownlee-Oxbow Highway (Hwy 71) are.

I'm planning on riding south on the Wallowa Mountain Loop and want to cut over to the Boise area. This looked like the most direct route but some descriptions I've seen sound like sections of it are unpaved.

Anyone know those roads?

I wish I could tell you I'd been on it...but I haven't. I am positive that it is paved though.. Send a PM to MCRIDER007...he'll know for sure.
