So Rob, what did you get this year? Was it another gallon jug of Brut?

Fuck, that was so long ago, I don't remember. Lemme see. I have a Zumo now. Recently mounted it to the ST3. Got a pair of Cardo Scala Q2 Bluetooth communicator thingies. Works good bike to bike and when I want to call Wazzu Mille to find out about the status of his new Mille's title and how completely hosed up the Georgia DMV is, it's a breeze. We also talk about boobies too, it's his new favorite topic. I have his number on voice dial, so it's a quick push on the teardrop shaped tumorous pod that hangs off my new AGV XR2 (had to get a new lid for the new bike) and after the beep, I say "Assmunching Cougar" and it connects me to his phone. I find that for voice dialing, it's best to use multi-syllabic phrases that aren't very common. Anyhoo, boob and title talk at 65 mph on the Duc is crystal clear. He didn't even know I was on the bike or on meth.

Oh, I also got a bracket to mount my zumo, several miles of wire, Pazzo shory levers (gold) for the 675, fuse block since I'm adding a bunch of electronic crap to the Duc, Symtec grip heaters, Foggy Respro neoprene face warmer and sneeze guard, stomp grips, oil filter wrench, 12V/30A automotive relay, posi-locks, an assortment of crimp connectors, heat shrink, cordless soldering iron, a tub of Fast Orange (cleans well AND smells good), a jug of Mobil1 (doesn't smell as good as Motul), oil filters for the Duc and Triumph and an Aeropress coffee/espresso maker. None of that was for my birthday though. Acute Alzheimer's must have set in because I can't remember what I got for my birthday.

I do want a set of Gilles rearsets and Jardine exhaust for the 675. Father's Day is coming up, think I'll go shopping...

Later,
Rob.

Yours are big enough, why would you need any more? Other than that really cool Scala Q2 I got ya, what did you score? Lemme guess...

Dave got you some huge ass thing for your garage that you don't want and had to pick up at some trucking company like a car lift or engine hoist.

Mom got you a juicer-clother steamer-clock radio thing from HSN

The kids got you some cargo shorts and mojito-in-a-box

The guys you work with probably hacked your computer, got into your work email and sent your boss a message expressing your feelings for him. Something about how you can't contain your man to man love any more, you're an excellent cook and homemaker, how he should leave his wife and you'd make him the most contented man on earth. Shit like that.

The guys you ride with slashed your tires

A special lady friend prolly got you a teddy bear, NKOTB undies (sport briefs), a Sherlock Holmes caped jacket thing (houndstooth check, of course), a yellow rubbery bracelet (it says peestrong - apparently this is to raise awareness for male urinary symptoms due to BPH - brought to you by the makers of Flomax), can o' whip cream, huckleberry flavored lube, big ball bearings on a string thing and a note that simply said "I love it when you sing 'The Right Stuff' to me". Oh, I forgot she prolly also gave you a picture of her... with Donny Wahlburg

Some chick at the office you only talked to once left a gift bag on your desk. In it was a can of whip cream, tub o' anesthetizing lube, a thick rubber hair tie looking thing, big ball bearings on a string thing and a note that simply said "hi, your cube farm mates tell me you're available". Oh, I forgot there was also a picture of her... and her penis.

How close was I?

pretty close.

got a ipod dock from dave that was probably a prior hsn purchase by mom but he didn't know what to do with it until he heard i have an ipod. she probably got it because a free juicer was part of the deal and she wanted it.

my man to man love is called "man crush". we don't use the "L" word at my age. that could be dangerous.

the guys i ride with are still bummed because they can't figure out how a 10yr old sport tourer loaded with a pair of 46 liter bags full of handi-wipes can outperform their liter bikes.

my yellow bracelet is a special edition version enscribed "be-long" and is a gift from enzyte when you subscribe to a 5-year committment. i wear one on each wrist!

got a costco sized jug of a$$ lube (mango flavored) and cracked it open at work during out weekly meeting. the guys didn't know what it was but they ate it anyway and later had to cancel the meeting because they all had numb lips and tongues. everyone left early that day. it was a good day.

my main man crush is not donny wahlburg, it's mark. he rocks! i keep a picture of his ending scene in boogie nights in my wallet.
