No....we already had an official vote on the dates and the vote was unanimous (1-0) for April 21-22.

Great! Glad you can make it! We are not going to have a slow group this year but you can ride in the Safe and Sane Group.

Remember the reason I couldn't make it last year? I had a test the Monday after. This year, same thing. D'oh! College is getting in the way of my fun!

Take your books with you....I'm sure you could get a lot of study time in before and after dinner.

A better option (for study time) might be to leave Kamiah after breakfast and go straight home....Wistrick did that last year and was probably home by noon.

Yeah, as good as all of that sounds, I know that if I have friends around, I'll never study because I don't want to miss a minute of fun. Also, I want to ride back with everyone. So, I will just have to make sure that I get in some good study time before going. I can also study Sunday night. No worries

While I was talking to Steve about the ride at coffee the other day, he mentioned hearing something about the Spiral Highway in Lewiston being closed down for a fundraiser run the weekend of this trip. As cool as it'd be to have the Spiral closed to cager traffic for a day, I kinda doubted it. I talked to one of the local CMA guys at the show Saturday, and the "Tail of the Snake" event on the 21st is donation only and the Spiral Highway won't be closed. Not sure how the rumor got started, other than wishful thinking.

I wondered where Moonshine heard that too. The locals that live on the road are more "aware" when car and bike clubs/orgs have events. Cops will, as usual, be watching closley.

That will depend on who is in the group, really.

For instance, if you're planning on riding two up for group 2, you'd be a much better candidate due to requiring extra distance between riders.
