So, is this going to that place, that legendary place, the one you pointed out to Mr Yuk and me,

where even people without money can get fuel, beer - and a shot at redemption on Sunday morning?

If so, I'll dust off my shingle and see if I can get a sponsor.

Yes, it is magical. I swear, as I have experienced it. Without money, one can obtain fuel, beer (and wine), lodging, and a dinner of home made (kind of) tacos! Repent, I say, and someday you may also achieve such redemption. Ahhh, but there is one rather big catch --- you have to have really good friends (uh, with money). Sorry folks, I guess that leaves most of you out.

Seriously though, this will be a really good trip.

Actually, I was pointing at that mythical place where Rod insists on buying drinks and dinner for his riding partners...............could Kamiah be the place where myth finally becomes reality?

I guess we will never know unless Rod rides to Kamiah on his Bring My Wallet.

If Rod decides to camp...with or without his wallet...then he will be able to enjoy the trip without paying for a room....AGAIN!

We only have 3 weeks to go before we leave Kennewick for Kamiah. I hope those who are going have made motel reservations and performed whatever maintenance is required for their motorcycle.

I have not yet been able to make a preride to Kamiah to check road conditions but am going to try to get it done this week if it will stop raining for a couple of days. As bad as our weather has been, Kamiah has had even more rain and cold weather.

I'm hoping for sunny weather for our trip but it would be a good idea for everyone to pack rain gear. Riding in the rain is part of motorcycling and usually is not that bad if you have some decent rain gear...which is also handy to wear for a couple of hours on cold mornings.

Finished all of my maintenance today and reserved a room a few weeks ago. I can't wait for this ride!

Those baggy rain pants Devin was wearing are pretty cheap at full throttle. Or you can use the rain lining for my new mesh pants. Looks like I'll be wearing my usual black textile pants again unless it warms way up.
