Fazzari of Walla Walla The Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) have been invited by the Family of 1LT Fazzari to help honor this hero at upcoming services in Walla Walla. At this time Details are pending activities will likely occur on multiple days. You do not have to join the PGR to participate with us - we invite anyone wishing to honor this Hero and his family, who is willing to participate under the direction of the PGR captains to join in. | Track School Dazed   Joined: Oct 2005 From: CENTRAL I Ride: When I can |  Up Date Patriots, As of the end of today, 15 June, the CAO is still awaiting a confirmed arrival time for Lt. Fazzari. We cannot and will not make any guesses as to when the arrival will be, when the CAO knows, he will pass that information along quickly to us. I will update our National, State and local contacts as quickly as I can. This very easily could be a SHORT NOTICE ARRIVAL. Additionally, I encourage you all to remember that this arrival home will occur on a work day and in the middle of a working town. Our first objective is to follow the requests and needs of the family on their day. This means that the family will be doing what THEY want, and working with what Law Enforcement and other agencies will allow them, so as to not impede other citizen's day to day routines. Our plans are being coordinated with both of those things in mind. We are here to honor the Fazzari family and their community in the most respectful way we can. That is our mission. I humbly thank you all for the many responses I have personally received. I can certainly say that the people of Walla Walla are coming out to show their love and support for this family. Fazzari, US Army, KIA with a 2 Phase Mission including a RHG and Flag Line in Walla Walla, Washington. Mat Fazzari was a 2010 graduate of Gonzaga University in Spokane, Wash. He was commissioned into the Army as a 2nd lieutenant in October 2010 and earned his qualification as Kiowah pilot at Fort Rucker in April 2012. He was assigned to Fort Bragg last month and immediately deployed, for the first time, to Afghanistan. Lt. Fazzari's awards and decorations include a Purple Heart, Army Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, the Air Assault Badge, the Army Aviator Badge and a Combat Aviation Badge. Lt.
