Snake!

Be careful while out and about this snake @ Yakima Firing Center was caught a couple of weeks ago.

A-yup. Gotta be careful of rattlers when out in the boonies. Pretty much the only reason I never left camp without a shotgun (coyotes aren't worth the ammo).

That sure is a big sucker though.

Funny but true story while riding Hells Canyon out around Baker City I had a snake thrown up from the pavement by a truck tire. It hit the winshield of my bike and my right leg. I stopped only to realize the damn thing was still moving. Long story short I left the area quickly. It was nowhere near the size of the one in the picture but it was not small either. The case of the flying road snake hahaha

Ah the ol "Hold the snake closer to the camera to make it look bigger"

Its pretty big but not as big as the photo makes it look....

That guys arms arn't extended an the stick dosen't appear to be more than about a foot or so and it looks like the snake is alive. Would you want to be any closer to a live one that size?
