His machine will be lighter also, and better suited for the logging roads than some of the heavy Beemer 1200's that come along. In regards to fuel, the runs, counting both street and trail time, seem to average around 100 miles, and if he gets low, he can always gas up at the end of the trail ride before riding back to Spokane. Depending where we eat lunch, there may also be a gas station by the restaurant. - Bob |

| Track School Dazed ![]() Joined: Oct 2005 From: CENTRAL I Ride: When I can | Next Adventure Ride from Empire OK, the snow's finally gone, and we're ready to ride. The next Adventure Ride will be on Sunday, August 12th. Same as before, we'll meet in the parking lot at Empire Cycle & Powersports at 8:30, fill out waiver forms and get safety briefing, and leave at 9:00 sharp. Be sure you're gassed up ahead of time, and I suggest you bring some water, never know how dry or warm it will be. We'll stop for lunch at some restaurant, so don't worry about food. I'll find out from our Trailmaster where the ride will be going this time, and post it here and on our website. The riding will not be technical, mostly logging roads and maybe some ATV tracks. Bring your dual-sport and let's get dirty! (Maybe Kevin will bring his cruiser) __________________ Empire Cycle & Powersports 7807 E. Sprague Ave Spokane Valley, WA 99212 (509) 892-6368 |

Schedule as follows: 7:30 - Those who want to, can meet over at Jenny's Cafe up the street from the dealership. Her address is 9425 E. Sprague Ave., on the North side of the street. Good food, quick, and a big parking lot, perfect combo. 8:30 - Meet at the dealership, for instructions and to sign liability release forms (attorneys, gotta love them). Be sure you are gassed up. 9:00 - Leave for the ride. We will spend a long morning riding, come back down for a late lunch, and then head back to Spokane. Suggest you bring water, as it will be warm (the contingent coming up from the Tri-Cities may not think so, they know what real heat is), and dress cool. Looking like there will be a good-sized turnout, let's get dirty! (especially Kevin!) __________________ Empire Cycle & Powersports 7807 E. Sprague Ave Spokane Valley, WA 99212 (509) 892-6368 |
