Too bad our westside riders can't make it............but Willy is always a welcome addition to any ride...........especially if he brings Ana.

I Ride: It started out as a Bonneville...
Looks like there's a pretty big forest fire burning north of Enterprise, just east of Hwy 3. I left a voicemail with Cecil in case his group were thinking of heading that direction. Looks like most of the smoke is blowing northeast, but Lewiston is pretty ugly this morning with it and we're not even in the air quality advisory area. My lungs and heavy smoke don't get along well, so I'm not going to risk heading down the Rattlesnake and within 10 miles or so of the fire.

INSTEAD, I'm thinking I'll jog west to Wally World and meet up with Steve's group in Pilot Rock or thereabouts. It looks like you'll be there at about 10, so I'll shoot to be there about a half hour early and hope there's a cafe I can chill at. If that doesn't work, give me a call, Steve. I'll be home all day.

Not looking forward to a middle seat to Washington DC. I'll probably be stuck between a couple of bloated overfed legislative toadys.

Much rather be riding than flying, I'll be watching for the pictures you will be posting.

I'm IN as well. Completely new to the forums, but I've been to the Sunday Coffee several times. I'm comfortable riding my bike, but still considered new at riding.

I've already got a room at the motel, so I think I'm set!
I'll be riding a kawasaki EX500..

I'm a maybe for tomorrow. Can't stay overnight cause I have to go to Seattle Sunday morning for Seahawk game. So I would ride down with you guys, hang out for a bit, then turn around and ride home. Don't wait up, but don't be surprised if a random guy shows up on a black Suzuki M109

We are meeting Wistrick around 10:45 AM at the Pilot Rock Shell station and will probably be there until 11:00 AM. We are also stopping for lunch in Ukiah......you can meet us at either place.

Thanks for the notice, see you tomorrow.

Another topic.........I just talked to the Oregon Trail Motel and they said they only have 5 rooms (including mine) reserved for our group. If you have not already told them you are part of of "Steve's Ride" then you need to tell them at check in to take advantage of our group rate.

Any body interested in a little faster paced ride, hook up with Willy and Anna there at Tri-Cities Starbucks before 9:00 am and they will be meeting me here in Hermiston at 10:00 am. The route will be negotiable. Lets have some safe fun.

Pete...........

I am riding to Starbucks in a few minutes, the temperatures should be in the low 60s by 9:00 AM, and the weather forecast looks great for the entire weekend.

Check your tire pressures, fill your gas tank, and bring $$$$. This is going to be fun ride!

Good to see everyone again! I hope everyone else had as much fun as I did.
