She was just positioning herself in front of this Suburban who wanted to go faster; when 'he' changed lanes rider changed too to be ahead of him and kept him to her speed. back and forth lane to lane, never passing anybody, just being an active traffic bottleneck on the way home. |

Just let the f'ing car go by and be done with it. Live and let live. All she did was make the people in the Suburban hate bikes even more than they may already have. We totally need to legalize lane splitting everywhere... especially WA, OR and NV. But it seems like every time we get close, some stupid politician screws it all up. Oregon was ready to do it until they decided to just put up some billboards about motorcycle safety instead. Rob |

Especially against a Suburban. Granted any car hitting you is gonna hurt, but a Suburban is no Miata. It's like wearing a sign on your back that says, "go ahead punk, run me over!" He should have. I'm all for protecting other riders, but this bitch was asking for it. Heck, the only trouble I have ever had with motorcyclists while I'm in my car has been with Harleys. My most recent one was back in Reno. Heading down a two-lane residential road, posted 35 mph, this buttweasel on a chopper or something pulls right out in front of me and goes 25 mph. I guess he wanted to because he could see me mouthing at him in his tiny-ass mirrors. He pulls into the dead-man's lane and as I go by, flips me off, then pulls back in behind me and rides my bumper. I can SO close to standing on the brakes. Next light, left turn lane, light is already green. I make the turn, into the right lane (now a four-lane road) and dumbass turns into lane next to me and decides to gun it about the time I did. Stupid POS Harley vs built WRX == no contest. I walked on him, went through the S-curve and made a right at the next intersection. He couldn't turn fast enough with that thing and gave up and turned left. I've been watching for the SOB ever since. I have plenty more stories going all the way back to when I was in high school, but I don't want to hijack the thread. ![]() So, to get back on topic... I say she's lucky she didn't get run over. Rob |

Hell, I was buying gas in Richland a couple months ago and noted the tire condition of another rider’s bike. I walked over, introduced myself and pointed out the problem. The guy hadn’t noticed, and he thanked me. Maybe this woman would do likewise if someone expressed polite concern. Maybe she wouldn’t, but at least you would have done your part. - Mikey |
