Sounds like she will eventually get ran over or off the road unless somebody says something.

At least you tried.

If lane splitting was legal, she could've just split past everybody and been done with it.

yeah, but rider wasn't going faster than anybody else. She was just positioning herself in front of this Suburban who wanted to go faster;
when 'he' changed lanes rider changed too to be ahead of him and kept him to her speed.
back and forth lane to lane, never passing anybody, just being an active traffic bottleneck on the way home.

Oh so she was being a bitch, not just riding poorly. Just let the f'ing car go by and be done with it. Live and let live. All she did was make the people in the Suburban hate bikes even more than they may already have.

We totally need to legalize lane splitting everywhere... especially WA, OR and NV. But it seems like every time we get close, some stupid politician screws it all up. Oregon was ready to do it until they decided to just put up some billboards about motorcycle safety instead.

We are still in the triple digits and it already feels like winter around here.

The part I agree with, who would want to sit in stop and go traffic. When they could easily move forward??? k That is all...AJ

That's normal Washington state hall monitor driving technique.
Probably just forgot that she wasn't in her outback.

Next time, squeeze a little bbq sauce onto the road in front of her and ditch the broad a lesson.

Only men should ride bikes, even if they do ride it like a woman at times.

I dunno... just seems awfully stupid to me for a motorcycle to try crap like that. Especially against a Suburban. Granted any car hitting you is gonna hurt, but a Suburban is no Miata. It's like wearing a sign on your back that says, "go ahead punk, run me over!" He should have. I'm all for protecting other riders, but this bitch was asking for it.

Heck, the only trouble I have ever had with motorcyclists while I'm in my car has been with Harleys. My most recent one was back in Reno. Heading down a two-lane residential road, posted 35 mph, this buttweasel on a chopper or something pulls right out in front of me and goes 25 mph. I guess he wanted to because he could see me mouthing at him in his tiny-ass mirrors. He pulls into the dead-man's lane and as I go by, flips me off, then pulls back in behind me and rides my bumper. I can SO close to standing on the brakes.

Next light, left turn lane, light is already green. I make the turn, into the right lane (now a four-lane road) and dumbass turns into lane next to me and decides to gun it about the time I did. Stupid POS Harley vs built WRX == no contest. I walked on him, went through the S-curve and made a right at the next intersection. He couldn't turn fast enough with that thing and gave up and turned left. I've been watching for the SOB ever since.

I have plenty more stories going all the way back to when I was in high school, but I don't want to hijack the thread.

So, to get back on topic... I say she's lucky she didn't get run over.

Rob

That reminds me back in 82 or so. My X had a new BF who rode. They thought it funny to tailgate my car when they happened upon me in town. He did a couple of run-ups then would dog the brakes. As he started one of his run-ups I locked up the brakes. I have to give credit to the dude, he managed to stop without hitting me. But I couldn't help but see the X's head bounce off the back of his helmet. PS that was the last time he pulled that shit...AJ

Wow
Hard to understand the hostility, and the “who gives a f*ck comments … When a fellow human being is endangering himself or herself AND others, we should care. Hell, I was buying gas in Richland a couple months ago and noted the tire condition of another rider’s bike. I walked over, introduced myself and pointed out the problem. The guy hadn’t noticed, and he thanked me. Maybe this woman would do likewise if someone expressed polite concern. Maybe she wouldn’t, but at least you would have done your part. - Mikey

That's because 90% of the population of WA lives, you know, to the west of you.

Are you joking? That's the exception on this board. The rule is anytime some rider is doing 80 in a congested 35 and gets pulled out in front of the opinion is ALWAYS its the "cager's" fault. 98% of us on here also drive cars/trucks, quit pretending you're special because you ride a bike, you are also a "cager". It's not always "the other persons fault".

Yup! Life is good. So's the people and the riding, in the east.
