New Hip Tomorrow

Yep, I get the right hip replaced tomorrow morning, the left one will be done later. Titanium ball and stem, plastic cup. I can hardly wait!

Had my left done in May, still is a pain. Good luck with the procedure. Hope all goes well!

Good luck local stranger. Friendly word of advice, stay out of downtown Kennewick from now on. If one of the tweakers finds out you've got metal in your hip, they'll try to sell you to the scrap yard, whole body and all.

(I work near Pacific Recycling. The guys that hang out down there will recycle anything metal for a few bucks.)

I'm gonna need a replacement one of these days too. Broke it pretty bad and the played erector set on my hip instead of replacing it. I have a lot of hip pain, but this book called fixing you, hip and knee pain. has been a bit of a help lately. Over time I think reading this book will really help me out a lot. Author is rick olderman.

It's a pretty quick recovery. They had Carol up and walking the next morning. Do your exercises (some of which are a little goofy looking

) and eveything will go fine.

Thanks guys. Walked the entire floor 2 hours after arriving in the room. Yippee kiyea!!!
