Thanks for the warm welcome all. I'll be seeing you all out on Sunday. I've conned another guy into going as well. His bike is almost as blinding yellow as Chris'. We can put them up front and everyone will see us coming... or they'll get hit first... whatever

Spent about 6 years in that same area...graduated from Crescent Valley High. Lots of great roads around there, just gets too dam wet!

Now that's a small world. I graduated from Crescent Valley in '91. You? That town is crazy, it literally never changes. Everywhere around it is growing like crazy though. I was away in Colorado and Arizona for about eight years, and I couldn't believe how big Albany was! Still moldy though. You're right about the roads. Just dodge the log trucks and it is great. I chucked my '89 CBR 600 to its death on Mary's Peak.

Hahahaha! Marys Peak....man, we used to rail that hill on a regualar basis.. on bikes, in cars, and on skateboards...dam, you can get some serious speed on that road standing on a board...

Do they still do the annual Marys Peak Hillclimb? Where race cars come from all around .... kind of like a pikes peak run..??? That was always fun to watch..

I don't know. Right after I wrecked they really cracked down on that road. The speed limit used to be 55, now it's 35 the whole way up. I rode up it on a friends 954RR about two years ago, but it was April, so the whole road was still covered with moss. That's right folks, moss. You wouldn't believe it till you saw it. Green pavement... as bad as ice.

mmmmm. We all suffer from a terrible addiction and we cant decipher street signs (speed limits, turn mph, etc) and of course most importantly the ability to say "no" when someone asks if you want to go for a ride!!!!!

Hey Nathan, We will be meeting at Tri-Cities Cycle Supply at about 5:45pm tonight and leaving there at 6:00pm to head over to BrickHouse Pizza in West Richland. You should show up and bring your g/f. Bike Night is always a good time, plus it will give you the chance to meet a lot of other riders and your g/f can meet the other female riders who can help talk her into a bike
