yes, still long the USD. The EUR is just taking it in the shorts, literally. 1.1750 area could be the next support level. If that is pierced than somewhere in the upper .89 range is the next target point from inside traders. Stops have been part of the target on this massive shift between the two pairs. Large blocks have been knocked off one by one creating an avalanche of selling for the EUR. Experts say the EUR was over valued by about 40%. This coupled with higher interest rates of the EUR and GBP sparked the stamped for the exits with the USD,JPY, and CHF being the benefactors.

I've been trading forex about 6 years. Its incredibly profitable

i think GM is a good company to watch right now and in the year to come...they stopped selling cars because the majority of sales were of SUV's and trucks, and when gas prices went up, sales went WAAYYY down...now since gasoline is a solid $1.50 lower than it was just 4 months ago, im thinking sales will rise again...especially with world beaters like the Z06, ZR1, and Cobalt SS to brighten up their image...the sale of hummer couldnt hurt either...that branch has been shit since day 1 imho...

dont know about ford though honestly, they basically went bankrupt and got bailed out by the government and they depend entirely too much on trucks...once they start bringing the tiny gas sipping and diesel cars from europe, then their sales and profits will rise...if my guess is correct, ford will have the first small diesel powered car in the US in a loonngg time (not counting the golf or jetta)...and when people see 60+mpg, rock solid reliability, and a decent price, then theyll buy ford again (and so will i)

for 2010, the big 3 are apparently bringing small ~4.5L diesels onto the non commercial markets to power F-150s, Chevy 1500s and so forth which are capable of 30mpg highway and having 500+ torque

ever wonder why the resale on TDI jettas is so damn good? check the MSRP and check the value in auto trader...most used ones are going for more than brand new

squidward......your avatar is gross!

and the stock market overall is still in the buzz saw mode. To make a call on GM if its safe to reenter now maybe, maybe not. Can't imagine it getting lower though. But look at ford at about $2. Everyone is trying to bottom guess. Let this flush through and the market reset itself. Be patient that time will come.
