Bad timing for me. I have a friend coming in from Phoenix for a whole week. I probably won't be riding much during that time.

Question Need Help haul'in your lunch?
I will have room in my saddlebags to haul your lunch 'if you need help'.
First come first carry! Post up if you want me to carry your lunch.

I'm bringing my "Roy Rogers" lunch box and match'in thermos. Guarenteed to have 'warm milk' before we leave the TriCities!

I'll go, but only if we can stop at a subway or quiznos along the route. I'm not too good with the whole "bring a lunch" concept.

If Subway's that close, I agree we could stop there for those that dont want to bring lunch.

The BIGGEST reason to picnic is 'time'.
Last season we wasted as much as 2 good hours waiting for cold food, with poor service.

Oh yeah, I agree. No lunch at places that have to cook food- we were hosed last year. Subways are usually pretty fast though.

Thanks for the welcome. I havent rode a lot, still on my first year and under 5k miles... figured maybe this is the right type of ride for me. I dont think my 500 has too much of a problem keeping up (for the most part) with the big boys.

you have chosen a great group to join for this ride... very patient with the new peeps... although i would recommend making sure you are fueled up.. cuz when you have to hit the reserve tank and your behind james.. forget him paying attention... dont honk the horn, jump up and down, yell, scream... he wont hear ya (just kiddin james)... cant wait to join in on these rides again now that things are slowing down in my life lol.... hope you guys have fun... will be thinking about ya... well... naw.. will be too busy doing other fun things

There's nothing wrong with a 500 man and don't worry about keeping up, just ride your own ride. The people here are pretty considerate, if we get carried away on a nice stretch of twisties, we will wait for you to catch up.
