I figured it was unique enough someone would know where it was. ![]() |

| Pit Crew Joined: Mar 2009 From: phil-O-math I Ride: 2003 ZZR1200 | Photo Tag Up For Grabs Rick 1---- Deer 0 I went out tonight to do get a great shot for the photo tag... headed down to Newport to visit friends and take some awesome pictures. On the way back a bambi ran into the side of my bike. ![]() I stayed up but it shattered the plastics on my bike and knocked off the luggage on the left side of the bike. Yes, 10guy... the same bag that was detached by the stump on R1Jackal's hill. The deer hit just in front taking out the driving light and well as impacted my leg. I had full leathers on and not the mesh gear as well as my riding boots. My leg hurts but everything seems to be functioning well but I'm sure it will be stiff in the morning. I'm not positive but bambi may have been hit by a semi first and it bounced into my lane after the truck hit it. I was doing about 55 at the time and it took me a couple of miles to slow down and stop to see the damage. My hands are still stiff from the tight grip I had on the bars.I made it home and then went back to look for the luggage and my camera. I found the bag but the camera... with the pictures for photo tag and the weekend ride is gone. If anyone in the area would like to take a ride out in the daytime to look for it I would be most appreciative of the effort. (Elton???) It would be in a black case and is an olympus camera. This all happened just east of the east Toledo entrance on Hwy 20 and Olalla road and Mossy Lane http://ridewithgps.com/routes/5359 I'm going to take some Alieve and head to bed. Anyone up for creating a naked Concours??? |

Photo tag is just a game, we are not in any hurry for a new photo. Ducatichick gets tagged and you turn it into a full contact sport. Be safe people. |

How about a naked concours with new fork fluid? Have lots of fork operating tools (plastic operating tools too) at my house, even a fridge with some beer. Hope you find your camera - I'm sure you would have taken pictures of the road side wreckage if you'd had it ![]() |

Willing to go anytime today, s'long as it's within the next 4-5 hours. 541-230-4465 |

| Pit Crew Joined: Jan 2009 From: North Albany I Ride: Misty | We, Xunal and myself, went out and walked each direction from Olalla road for about 1/2 mile and didn't see any sign of an accident. No dead deer, at least not one that had been recently killed, and no plastics. We tried and poor Xunal wore his full gear with stuff underneath so he got really hot and then on the ride into Newport to get something to drink it got foggy and cold. Had a nice ride home though up through Nashville and Summit on the way home. |
