Great day everyone... Good safe ride.
Thanks to all the sweepers for sticking with us newbies.
Thanks Anna/Jack for hosting!
The group made me feel good, never did I feel too slow or too noob (even if I was).
THANKS!

Mind and body are mush now after 170+ miles of riding in an afternoon.
I successfully double the "my" miles on that bike.
I feel much more confident with it now.

Oh yeah? What happened?

jc2000 & I had a pretty uneventful ride back to Eugene. HWY 101 is in better shape than it was this time last year, but it's still a bit questionable in some places. If you ever take it, as always...pay close attention to the road surface. HWY 36 is in great shape. Most of the gravel is gone & there are no horrible potholes.

and when I showed my wife the pic from the prarking lot she said ...nice, you parked the bikes by color.

Maybe uneventful for you but everytime we stopped/started I ended up with a bug or two in my helmet!

The old man referred to was some Geriatric clown on a new Connie. Blew by me, and took off ater Sam, Q, and Billy. Turned out to be Cutback flogging his new grocery getter. Alot of the pictures are posted on FB Eric, but I'll post some of mine again here. As soon as I remember my Photo bucket log in.

Is that what happened or is it because we were parked in roughly the same order that we were riding. It just so happens that blue & black are actually slower colors?

HA! At least once I got a horrible sinking feeling in my stomach because I had lost you somewhere at that 101/126 intersection in Florence. I was really hoping you hadn't gotten hit by a car. The next time I figured you got hit by another bug.

Eric...I'm the guy that was riding the black Triumph Sprint RS in front of you as if it were a Triumph LeisurelyStroll RS. JC2000 was the sweep on the blue FZ1...riding it like it was an FZ0.3.

And I'd add more pictures, but they're only of the bikes at the seawall...and we already have one of those pictures.

The chili was awesome! It was great meeting Eric and his wife. Cool to have new members make it out. I also want to apologize again, to anyone I spooked as I swooped you guys

, I thought everyone knew it was me and evidently, only Sam recognized me so, again please except my apologies as I didn't mean to scare the crap out of all my buddies!

If you guys recall, when we got to Jack and Anna's, one of are members (after the trip back from the coast) really had to go..... Well, I caught him doin' the pee pee dance so, I thought I'd share:
