Riding in Snow at Mary's Peak

Today, Douglas and I decided to go look for snow. Since hearing reports that the snow level would be down to 600 feet today, we figured it would be a good chance to go check it out. Little did we know just how much snow we would find. The valley floor has been bare all day (and week).

About 70 miles round trip riding up and down different trails on Mary's Peak. We eventually made our way up the normal route to the submit before veering off Harlan Road to get back to town. Douglas lost a shock bolt at one point, which prompted the zip tie pictures. Otherwise it was a lot of fun and the scenery was amazing.

My favorite part of the ride was the kids in the pickup truck saying "Y'alls CRAZY!" and us answering "YES WE ARE!"
