Short ride
Well I took advantage of a break in the weather, headed out through Sweet Home and up around Foster lake. The roads were damp, but the rain held off. I started up Quartzville and quickly had a change of heart, the green carpet covering the road just didn't look inviting. The road around Foster is shitty as usual, but it was nice to get out and ride.

Anyone else riding? I didn't see many bikes out today, but I did get alot of puzzled looks as I rode past. You would think people in Oregon would be used to seeing bikes riding in damp conditions. Tomorrow we put new Q2's on Gixxer, and take Q out for a scrub in ride to the Coast. Anyone else wanna go? We're planning a late morning departure time from Tangent. Maybe even an attempt on Mary's Peak.

Wish you were here Jackal, the curves are calling.

Just to clarify - ride will start once Q's wheels are back on his bike - which is dependant on Mikey's schedule @ Premier Motogear...

Should be fun, though!!!

Rode this morning briefly to try wear in brakes. Heated grips are nice.
Brakes still not right.
However, I have been riding quite a bit lately anyway... mostly shine, but some rain.

Curves are calling, bike is ready. Weather is not helping.

So I can assume Q's new tires are all scrubbed in?!

That's a great touring bike ride! I did that back in Nov 2003 on a rented BMW 1150RT - days were great but evenings cooled off so fast! I was happy to have heated grips and a big comfy bike.

Well Q, we did get some maintanence done. lol

And I think after today, Q's Q2's are definately scrubbed in. Today made up for the lack of riding yesterday.

Glenn, I'm a little dissapointed there weren't more detailed pics following up on the first. Promising nude women and then delivering a shit ton of guys on Goldwings just didn't cut it for me. Get that RC8 back out here to Oregon.
