Just a heads-up The police were patrolling Riverside this morning, remember the speed limit is only 45 through there.

I Ride: 2007 Z1000
I rolled through Riverside this morning... saw the police hiding behind a tree in the grass (wet grass with the patrol car would have been interesting trying to take off).

Nothing happened as I cruised by... and we will be going slow again later today.
Thanks for the heads up.
I actually passed ~3 police this morning.

I know MANY bikes went down riverside this morning, saw them coming and going.

He actually pulled out behind me, When the lights came on I was wondering if he was really going to tag me for ~51 or so that I was doing when I passed him but he passed me and went after a car ahead of me.

Thats funny. I had a car pull out in front of me on Riverview this morning, but decided just to hang back and ride casual. It was a poor technical morning, as in none of my corners felt right... so I had no reason to push it. Probably a good thing for my safety and ticket reasons. I don't push it on that road because I have felt the corners feel a bit slick numerous times. 90% sure it is all rider error... but just the same.

Depending on when I get out of class tonight I think I'm going to try to make it to Bryant Park for the ride. Should have time to jump down hwy 20 to Albany. Cool if a PNW resident lurker shows up?

I definitely need to discover more good riding roads in the area. (New to Corvallis)

Had a great time tonight meeting lots of fellow riders. Also thanks to Eric, Sarah, and Doug for the ride from Bryant Park to American Dream! I now know some more good riding roads. Looking forward to more group rides and sunny weather!

Thanks to all who showed up at Bryant. I could see doing that again... hopefully without the mechanical trouble next time.

FX- good to have you out. There are lots of rides in the area, and lots of good riders to go with. Watch ride44.com too for group info. Try to make it to many bike nights, and the free Doc W clinics in Eugene.

Great bike night... many different rides. I don't think I saw any duplicates. 30+ rides all unique. That is fantastic.

See ya in two weeks in Albany, or in one month in Corvallis, or on the road.

Traded? I thought it was a demo/loaner until the maint was done on the RR?
I'd love to try a big Duc (or small Duc) sometime... for something completely different.
