American Dream Rooftop
I tried to reserve the rooftop tonight but customers are accustom to first come first serve basis.
I'll be there early for the hostile take over.

Big group tonight Lots of new people and ones that I've not met yet, not sure if I'll remember everyone (it usually takes a time or two for my brain to register).

Fun ride after with a good size group to start and slowly seemed to lose people, hope everyone made it home OK.

Great Bike Night Gathering
Yep, a pretty large group for Bike Night; lots of new faces and bikes, welcome all of you. Thanks to all that came on the little ride afterward. Special thanks to Usofireman & Rick for their navigation aid, and Tbolt for suggesting to reverse the course and fuel for bikes! I wasn’t quite expecting the large turnout for the ride but was glad to see the long string of headlights as we rode out. I’ll try and plan a better route for next month, the road, in spots, was a little bumpy and/or rough; but the length was about right, right? I can’t wait for the next scheduled ride!

What's wrong with a few bumps And the loose gravel adds a bit of zest to any ride

Wow, what a great turnout, I think our biggest so far. It was great to see some new faces, although I didn't get to meet everyone I hope everyone had a good time.

I look forward to the Western Ride In Motorcycle Show in Independence this Sunday and to meet some of you I didn't get to tonight.

There was talk of an overnight camping trip to Crater Lake this summer, post your ideas and available dates so we can put something together.

Rick mentioned an invitational ride for the Portland, Salem, Eugene and Roseburg groups of PNWRiders. Let's welcome our forum neighbors on a Saturday group ride up to Mary's Peak and over to the coast for chowder. (Again post up ideas and available dates).

We were also thinking of a Bro and Frau ride, just a slow meandering ride where we welcome our significant other to ride with us, for once, just this once, pleeeease. (Begging optional).

Picnics and potlucks were also brought up in conversation. Bring the kids and meet at a park/shelter for a BBQ and beer, disc golf, whatever.

And a big thank you to every one of the American Dream Pizza staff for taking care of us and cleaning up. I think we owe them big time and should continue to support them, they are working with us to accommodate our group. We couldn't have done this without their help. (and all the cards I had printed say American Dream)

No problem, Bravura, I retract my suggestion. American Dream has been great in supporting and accommodating us. Sorry for rocking the boat!

I thought about it last night and it wouldn't be the same somewhere else. I kinda like taking over the whole place, we need to do that one night, fill the booths too and pack the house. What kind of motorcycle gang are we if we don't ruffled a few feathers. And it's the best pizza in town.

Bravura, thanks for the pix from last night, especially the one of my bike
Chowder run sounds great - I've been wanting to check out the Lobster Valley roads and the ones that end up in Yachats/Perpetua (Ten or 5 or some # of Rivers Rd). And, I haven't been on a group ride in years

I liked seeing all the helmets on top of the divider wall in the middle of the room.

Thanks for leading a nice ride, R1J. I thought the distance was perfect. Stac*y and I peeled off at Tampico Rd; had to run off and let the doggie out.

A Crater Lake camp out sounds wonderful.

Idea. I don't know if it is possible, but 3-5 bikes there 1 hour early would secure bike parking for at least 20 bikes the way we are stacking them. If I can, I will pull an early shift.

There needs to be extra credit for securing street parking!!

Hey everyone, looking forward to this month's Bike Night this Wednesday. I'll be taking a little ride up the Alsea curves and then down Decker Road after I had my fill of pizza & good conversation. Anyone can join, I'll be looking to start around 7:30 or so.

I would think that the corner south of that one being the trouble spot. I ride that all the time from belfountain back over to hwy 99. Its a fun little jaunt but the that 90 degree turn can sneak up on ya if your not familiar with the road.

ok i didnt mean to step on any toes... first off ooeddym is riding two up (from what I interpreted from his post) which i think i can keep up with him if he is carrying his wife(not a joke about your wife, just stating that you have more weight than usual that is floating around over the rear) and 10 guy hadnt posted he was going yet so i omitted him from the topic. also im a newer rider with a new(to me) bike so i haven't gotten gp racer good on it yet... i was able to keep up with osufireman last night no problem, now whether he was going "quick" i dunno, but i did loose him in his favorite terrain(gravel).

I'm heading to ADP right after work (shortly after 5) to 'try' and secure some parking. The roof top may be cooler today than last month but I will call to reserve the bench just in case.

See you all there.

Your bike definitely looks like its running rich. Every time you stepped on it you were generating a plume of black. have you checked the jets to make sure you have the rite size for this elevation.

Another great turnout of close to 30 riders, met some new riders, saw some familiar faces who haven't been out for awhile, welcome everyone.

Here is a different perspective :

and you were all at the photo tag location tonight...

I talked to a couple of riders last night who hadn't been on the forum for sometime and had forgotten their user name or password to the forum.
If you try to log in with either or both the wrong user name or wrong password you will be given a "forgotten your password? Click here!" prompt and you can enter your email address and captcha security code. You should then receive an email with your information and be able to log on.

Hope this helps.

Do you get extra points for getting the chickie wearing the dress in the background of the photo tag?
