Corvallis Bike Night
Not a group, not a club, no membership, no fees, no motto, no discrimination and no obligation…. this is a standing bike night - some weeks you make it, others weeks you don’t...
Bike night is an opportunity to meet some of the other riders you wave to everyday on your way to work, you pass on a weekend ride and you nod to at the gas station. A chance to share stories, experiences, ask questions, and offer advice or just chat. Relax after work or school, get out of the house, enjoy good food in a friendly atmosphere & meet new people sharing an interest in motorcycling. Even discuss, plan or setup weekend rides.
Everyone is welcome, no matter how long you’ve been riding, if you’re experienced or just learning. Whether you ride a sportbike, a cruiser, a standard, touring, trike, scooter, or moped.

Just stop by…
1st Wednesday of every month @ 6:00

American Dream Pizza
214 SW 2ND STREET Downtown
Corvallis, OR. 97333

One of these days I'll try and catch a Corvallis B.N.

But you have to move it to Woodstocks. I've driven from Seattle just for their pizza before, and I will do so again.

Great night and another good turnout even without the Salem riders, sorry you guys couldn't make it. You have a standing invite. We'll have to grab a bigger table next week, thanks to everyone for coming.

And a very special thank you to Valeri Lopez for the private concert. Check out http://www.myspace.com/valerilopez

Rain is forecast for this weekend so no ride set up yet, but we'll see everyone next week.

Sorry for the Salem no-show. We had time conflicts and couldn't get down there and back. From the looks of the weather might be April.....lol

Is the Marys Peak road still as fun as it was 27 years ago???? or has the road gone to shit....

That used to be the place to go for fun twisties.. There was a "Hillclimb" held there every year as well....there were always a bunch of seriously high powered machines that showed up for that....

There has been a great turnout these past couple of weeks and it'd be cool to see everyone and new faces too.

No problem Jim, no obligation and Salem riders are welcome anytime, maybe we'll get together for a weekend ride.

Mary's Peak...yeah, a lot of traffic, not worth riding, you wouldn't like it, very busy.

I bought some new gear today but with my mom in the hospital I won't be out this weekend. Go tell the Salem group - a couple of them are easy.

Accuweather forecasts morning sun, afternoon clouds, mid to high 60s and no rain until evening. Sounds like a nice October day, great for a ride.
See ya at the Bean.

Evidently, we are a hibernating bunch.......hopefully bike night will resume in the spring.
Until then, may we have sunny weekend rides and forums to keep in touch.

I was there, but it wasn't the turn out as usual. It would be great to keep this on through the winter.
How does everyone feel about changing the location closer to Albany to accommodate Salem/Albany/Lebanon riders? Somewhere we can shoot pool, play darts, live music, good food, etc.
Welcoming any suggestions, North Albany or downtown? Please post all recommendations. Judging by the turnout the past few weeks the potential for a great hangout, meeting place and group is there, just need the rider and business support to keep this going.

Question Ride Sunday 4th?
So, the weather's s'posed to be dry (but cold). Are we doing the "meet at the Beanery at 10:00" thing? Should it be a little later since it'll still be less than 40 degrees around then?

I missed out last weekend because my wife's in-laws were in town.
Now this weekend I've been waiting for this fog to lift, doesn't look promising.

Bike Night winter schedule...
We've all missed some weekly gatherings, so last week, attendees discussed having Bike Night once a month during the winter. Taking the upcoming holiday season into consideration, the first Wednesday of the month seemed most logical and easy to remember. December 5th, January 2nd, February 6th, etc....

See you then

Family vs. polar bear ride...
I have been waiting for some nice weather for a ride and finally looks like the 31st and 1st will be nice, BUT family thwarts plans again. Is there a law that says family inevitably will visit on nice riding days? Where were they when it was freezing, blowing, raining crap out there?

Well if you're not gonna use the nice weather over there, go ahead and send it on over to Bend. It's freezing and I haven't ridden in MONTHS! And it looks like it'll be months more until it's warm enough to even consider a short romp around town.

Keep an eye on Salem - we get some decent rides in. I'll try to remember to give you a holler on our next outing. I doubt if we will go to Silver Falls again in the near future, so maybe we will come down that way. I still plan on making one of your bike nights.

So, we having the monthly gathering tonight?

I showed last month, but nobody else did :(

Even if I don't get any replies here, I'll still drop by at 6:00 and grab a slice-n-beer.

I'll be there tonight...and Bob is usually there. I think a couple guys on the other website said they'll come. We'll have to start wearing colors, or patches to identify each other.

Almost like a real club. sniff
