I know they want you to think "GLADIATOR!", but it makes me think Gladiolas, a delicate flower that wilts easily. |

Just what I was told by Suzuki reps at the show. |

If Suzuki is replacing the SV650 with this they're making a big mistake...but that's their call. I can't get a straightforward answer from suzuki's website but it appears to weigh more than the SV. In general I think most people have said some things like: Slapped together, parts don't mesh with frame, ugly, bad color scheme, cool headlight but it looks like a scooter.... Of course it'll sell, but I doubt it'll have the following the sv650 does. |

| beansbaxter is too lazy to come up with something but he will get to it, eventually... ![]() | Wow, the worst tail fender EVAR! Not only does it have the tail light integrated into it (making aftermarket a pita) but it looks like the TRUNK RELEASE is also integrated into the fender?!?!?! Brilliant fucking idea. Oh, and yes, i agree, it's WAAAAAY too busy. Less is more people. And I CANNOT stand rear sets that integrate the passenger pegs. Retardo ugly. That bike is basically a design travesty. I didnt think it was that bad until I thought about it. But that bike is offensive. blech. Last edited by OOk; 12-17-2008 at 01:06 PM.. |

| beansbaxter is too lazy to come up with something but he will get to it, eventually... ![]() | I do agree with that statement in general (Suzuki is the worst offender), but I'm talking about bike design in general. The competition to look different is creating these "busy" design. It is much more apparent on supposed 'naked' bikes which now have almost as much plastic on them as the faired ones do. sad. |

I checked out the sales lit at Aurora Suzuki just after the dealers meeting a month or so ago. Almost all the pics in the glossy are of women riders. |

| WMRRA Qualifier Joined: Jan 2008 From: Beaverton, Oregon I Ride: SV650s | I agree with most of u. I think it's ok for some, but not me. I'll keep my sv thanks. What they should have done was make it slightly lighter with a 750cc motor and clean sharp lines. Of course the bike must be lower spec to still be in it's market, and should be very capable on a track with suspension mods. I would consider getting rid of mine for that. Wait I already have that besides the motor I do think it's cool that there is something moderately fast for shorter people to choose from. |

Most people who want a Suzuki would undoubtedly pick this design over the dated Sv650n Last edited by theloop82; 12-17-2008 at 07:28 PM.. |
