We now have a 'new' bike in the family and I'd like to get in some miles. Last Sunday was it's 'maiden voyage'....my S.O. saddled up in her purple and pink leathers and rode along with me to Maupin with only one small glitch....had to switch the 91 F-2 over to reserve...probably due to either a clogged tank vent or maybe the vacuum to the petcock was leaking...Anyway, that little Scoot works great.

I went on to Fossil and back,

Something over toward Randal, maybe Old Man Pass to Cougar, or whatever...I'd be up for a good one like that, with some 'mercy' for my SO who's not yet used to ~100hp and 12k rpms...and is riding on touring Dunlops for now.

anyone interested maybe? Not for sure yet... but it's down in pencil for us, I think...

We had a nice little ride to Hoodriver after SMC. I managed to ride over a BF rock the size of a babies head on the Rowena loops. I contribute that screw up to being hung over from a night at the Clock Tower.

I was finally able to talk to Ron when I ran into him in HR. Nobody is ever able to speak below a yell in Petite Provence. Ron, Lisa, and I are just a bit tired of it. We've made a command decision to show up next week at Water's Edge. They've got good food, and a nice outdoor seating area.

Maybe we could all meet there, maybe not. But I'll be trying it out, because our current hangout is getting ridiculous.

Good call! Worth a try, Water's Edge...

The Petite Provence...."Petite" is the right title for that place...I always felt 'shoe-horned in' the few times I tried going inside there. Difficult little place, though the staff and the food is fine. The noise in there, that was also annoying. On the upside for P.P. having the bikes right out front in plain sight made it easy to leave your riding gear outside to help you squeeze between those tiny tables inside, so..

Where exactly is this now, and what time? I have a buddy and his wife showing up tomorrow morning to do some riding around here, and maybe we could swing by and say "Hi".

New venue this week... Water's Edge out by the Shilo Inn. 551 Lone Pine Blvd. It's the great big building by the bridge. Is you miss it, we will harass you mercilessly.
9am-@0:30/11ish usually with a ride following after most times.

Speaking of next weekend....

The Ladies will be here next weekend for the PNWR Angles Rally I've put on the last two years. We will be using SMC to gather for breakfast and meet up for our ride on Saturday. It would be great if you all were there to give a nice Gorge welcoming...and send us off.

Buddy canceled, so no meeting up with him this AM, I'll be heading out to ORP to see a buddy of mine who's out there for a bit then making a ride down south and up back around Mt. Hood.

FYI, the Manager of that Bistro is my friend. They are extremely short staffed now, so if you do plan on having any large get together's there, please call in advance so she can possibly schedule someone in to assist.

For instance, I know this morning she is working by herself.

I actually stopped by and saw her last night, after visiting her father in the Hospital and told her I knew a small group may be stopping in today. I told her I didn't think it would be very many. She was kind of freaking out thinking like 15-20 people. She is used to me talking about our "little" get togethers up North.

Totally understand...but this sounds pretty high maintenance also :/

The girls are already set to meet there on Saturday, but I could probably still change it too, if we decide to try somewhere else.

What about that place that used to be Pat's Pancake House?? Anyone been there since they changed??
