I searched high and low all day today around Hood River County. I rode every road that I knew had some hiking or biking capacities, but with no success. I think it's safe to say that Mel ruined her own game!

More hints please? Possibly some more pictures for a frame of reference?

Hello Riders:

Nice tag!

That's a great place to be on a hot summer day; I really like that place. The WPA did some nice work, take a moment to admire the stonemason's craftsmanship.

Better yet, at this time of year it's one of the best places to pick thimble berries and salmon berries.

In the winter months the moss grows on the asphalt like a cheap shag carpet, and it's lethally slippery.

Thanks for the memories of that sylvan oasis.

Hello Riders:

An amusing coincidence:

While Mel was taking that photograph, a "geocacher" was nearby, and on his recent online post on a completely different website he refers to Mel as a "a motorcycle buzzard". I can't decide if the intent was derogatory or complimentary, but I kind of like that moniker....

What's really entertaining is that one obscure thread in a motorcycle forum can be linked to another even more obscure forum.

The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife has it listed as Tunnel Lake. Also, it was last stocked on April 24 with 2974 rainbow trout. I have yet to catch anything there!

I checked out Lolo pass today until it turns to gravel but with no luck. I thought I had the correct road, but apparently not! It met the requirements of historic, narrow, paved, wooded, and mossy. This tag is making me burn a lot of gas!

Anyway, finding these things is always an adventure... this is just the first one where I haven't a clue where it is!

EDIT: After hours of searching on Google, I finally found it in someone's travel blog! I'll get this one on my way to work tomorrow.
