One place comes to mind is Taco Dell Mar. They are located next to a beer joint and share a common outdoor area. Of course your the boss Mel so it's up to you. I don't want to piss you off.

Decent ideas...if you guys show up. If you don't... I feel like a total dork sitting at those places alone, or waiting for 30-45 min for people to show up.

Sorry Mel. I'd love to show up for bike night, but my schedule has not allowed it. It "should" be changing, so hopefully Thursdays will be free

Taco Del Mar works for me too, but Canton Wok, not so much :(

Ya, I know it's hard with your schedule...no worries. I wasn't meaning anyone specific - just the locations...either that, or you guys getting in the habit of letting everyone know if you plan to go or not.

Anyway - let's go ahead and migrate it to Taco Del Mar & Rivertap. Both are good for me, and I can get away with being there alone till the slowpokes show up without looking like I'm either loitering, or got stood up for a date (I've actually been asked this...thanks guys!!).

See you all in September...If I remember

Rummor has it that we're switching to a new time (day) & location for bike night.

1st Friday of the month, 6pm~ish, at the RiverTap in downtown The Dalles

I was not following this thread and did not know the time/place had changed. I was also under the impression that people rode their bikes to bike night (silly me). So you could say I fucked up on two accounts, I was unaware of the time change and I actually had a bike there.

....grumpy old man!! It's still at the same time, and you must have known the place...as you were there with Mike and then Batman'd outta there. Mike's feelings were severely hurt that you ditched him. It took us a full hour and 5 shots to console him...what an ass
