| Washington (VA) ![]() | I'm moving Andrew....jeez. I'm thinking about the Marchesini forged magnesium wheels with Galfer wave rotors, which are about $1600 a set. Couple pounds heavier than carbon, but still much less rotating mass, and very cool. The carbon's that I have found are about $4K! Suspension is the #1 upgrade to any bike, so that's a must. As far as the 1050 Daytona, that sounds fun! My motor is putting out 123 at the wheels, but there is a company in Georgia that does a 30 over kit, which would boost the HP considerably. Fred, I'll trade you straight across for both of your bikes.....as long as you wash them first. |

| Washington (VA) ![]() | Hehe, this is true. I bought a new truck to haul the bike down to the black hills, which is where I'll be doing much of my riding. Unfortunately, she'll be a commuter, mostly. |

| Washington (VA) ![]() | Hey....if I could have a hundred bikes, I wouldn't be happy. There's always something different and cool. But, since I can't sell this one for what it's worth, I'm keeping her. |

The fender eliminator is a definite. I like the white paint, but i think the belly pan looks out of place. maybe too big? or maybe better if it was white also? speed triples are cool ass bikes............ |

But they are fragile and that's ultimately what stops me. Were it me, and I've owned a Sped Tre, I'd think about cams and a big bore. Gear it a little short and some upright bars.... I'd keep the bugeyes too. But then I got this thing for em. Suspension is just about required if you get lighter wheels. And lighter wheels are an outstanding upgrade. The bike will really handle quicker. It will also accelerate a bit quicker. Wheelies and Stoppies ... |

| Washington (VA) ![]() | ![]() ![]() I really want light wheels and better suspension first. The bike is faster than my skill level anyway, but whatever makes it easier! |

Requires someone to slot your cam sprockets and a bit of knowlege...but not a tough thing to get done. I jsut looked around and low and behold, there aren't many cams available...I wqas somewhat surprised. Delta cams in Tacoma will build you what ever you want... These guys are VERY well known in the serious go fast world. And reasonable prices too. |

There are some inpressive mods and group buys there, including a 1090 big bore kit, and a cam mod. Velocity stacks, etc. Looks like my new stomping ground. ![]() | |
