Karts are racing that saturday and I gotta get in some lake time and mx sometime as well. Then there's always that work thing that gets in the way of everything fun ![]() |

| Endorsed Joined: Aug 2009 From: Spokane, WA I Ride: Triumphs,Aprilia's, Moto Guzzi's, too many choices! | Knobbies are not necessary, I ride a Tiger 800 with the stock street tires, and have done fine (except one brief encounter with mud last year, most embarrassing - thankfully no witnesses, should be no problem this year) Also brings up Ellis's Corollary: When dropping your bike, the amount of damage to your bike and pride is directly proportional to the number of witnesses watching (and laughing). ![]() |

I high sided the second time, but I doubt that my dress code would've changed the outcome. It isn't a fast enough track to really get Hurt by abrasion. |

I had jeans & a leather jacket. Some guys had on full textile gear. We all had good, over-the-ankle boots. As always, it's more your choice, so wear whatever you're comfortable with, as long as you wear good boots. KevinD |
